About
Steve Jacobson
I am an award-winning Creative Video Producer, Director and Editor with decades of experience creating compelling content through live action, animation, post-production, and more recently, Generative AI video production. My career has spanned entertainment, advertising, corporate communications and nonprofit storytelling, both domestically and internationally.
While I have held senior creative and production leadership positions throughout my career, I have always remained a hands-on storyteller – developing concepts, writing, producing, directing and editing content from initial idea through final delivery. Today, I’m particularly focused on combining traditional filmmaking and editing with emerging Generative AI tools to expand what is creatively and economically possible in video production.
My work has included content and campaigns for HBO, Prime Video, CBS, FOX, NBC, AT&T, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, American Jewish University, The Phoenix Symphony and numerous other organizations. Additionally, I have produced video content for other business sectors including fitness & wellness, hospitality & destination, finance, and more. As VP of Video Programming and Production at The Integer Group, I built and led a remote production operation that generated more than $1 million in additional annual revenue while producing award-winning content for AT&T.
I have also pursued projects driven purely by creative passion. My wine videos won the Wine Spectator Video Competition three consecutive years – 2022, 2023 and 2024 – making me the competition’s first Video Hall of Fame inductee. Those projects reinforced something I have believed throughout my career: great video begins with a strong idea, a distinctive point of view and an emotional connection with the audience.
Increasingly, some of my most meaningful work has been for nonprofit organizations, including Jewish Family & Children’s Service, The Phoenix Symphony and the Hilton Family Holocaust Education Center. After a career creating entertainment and advertising designed to capture attention, I’ve found enormous satisfaction in using those same storytelling skills to create work that can educate, inspire, raise support and positively impact people’s lives.
